Lewis Bernaldo de Quiros
Sensei Lewis Bernaldo de Quiros has been training intensively in aikido since 1984, between 1986 and 1993 in Japan with Morihiro Saito Sensei. He now lives in Spain and teaches on seminars throughout Europe. Longstanding experiences in: Judo, Shotokan Karate, Kyudo, Zen Meditation and Tea Ceremony.

Visiting Gourdon!
Gourdon is one of the most picturesque of all the perched villages, and one of the most touristic. It’s rated as one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, and well deserves the title. The village is full of little boutiques with perfume products, a glass blower who creates intricate masterpieces and loves to talk, an early-17th-century fortress, and several large buses dropping off and picking up tourists. | Hosted by an aikido-ka It is possible to be hosted at home by one of the local aikido-ka. If you are interested, email us as soon as possible since the number of places is limited. |

Reaching the spot from the airport
If you are coming by plan and have no car, please let us know. We’ll do our best to welcome you at the airport and bring your to your hosting place or the area where the seminar is taking place.
Ortherwise, there is a very easy and convenient way to reach the seminar place or the hotel mentioned above…
Direct Bus 500 Nice-Grasse,
Departure from Terminal 1 at the Nice airport (free shuffle from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1), direction to Grasse, there is a bus every 35 min. or so for € 1,5 only.
The bus stops at LE ROURET and at CHATEAUNEUF DE GRASSE (where you’ll have the Campanile Hotel):
